Creating Excellence with SPJ, RTDNA and NAHJ
About the Excellence in Journalism Conference
In 2011, the Society of Professional Journalists and the Radio Television Digital News Association partnered to host an annual conference that provides journalists with the industry’s best training and networking opportunities. Following two successful Excellence in Journalism conferences, SPJ and RTDNA welcomed the National Association of Hispanic Journalists as an EIJ collaborator for the 2013 event in Anaheim, Calif.

Who Comes to EIJ?
The EIJ conference attendees are the top professionals in journalism, including: newsroom decision makers, leaders, station managers, reporters, producers, content managers, editors, freelancers and educators – people who are looking to implement new technologies, software products and journalism best practices in their newsrooms as soon they return home from Anaheim.
Broadcast, Print and Online Converge
The merging of RTDNA and SPJ for the EIJ conference means we’ve got the best educational programming around. It also means we’ll see attendees from all walks of journalism representing the broadcast, print and digital realms in a single location.
As our profession has evolved, so have our organizations, and the EIJ conference is a direct product of that evolution. EIJ combines the best of two history-rich organizations and offers our sponsors and expo partners a chance to network with a concentrated audience of people with newsroom purchasing power throughout the conference.
Join us at EIJ13 in Anaheim and see for yourself how this annual conference is a must-attend event for the decision makers and journalists around the country!
